Rocky Mountain Bootblack Mission Statement
The Rocky Mountain Bootblack Contest is a celebration of diversity in the Leather community and showcases the bootblack's art and skills and recognizes the dedication, spirit, and service heart that is exemplified in the very best in the bootblack community.
Each year, a single Rocky Mountain Bootblack will be selected not based on gender-identity, sexual-orientation, race, physical appearance, age, or disability, but rather on their ability to articulate their views, passions, and dedications and to make an impact in their communities. We will expect the Rocky Mountain Bootblack to act as mentors, educators, role models, and spokespeople throughout their title year. The goal of the Rocky Mountain Bootblack is to promote and celebrate the diversity of Bootblack/Leather Culture both locally and regionally throughout the alternative sex-positive community on behalf of the Bootblack/Leather Leather Contest.

We DO NOT tolerate actions, language or policies that discriminate or further marginalize people with regards to race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, physical appearance, mental and physical ability, HIV status or marital status.
