Moxie

Moxie is the Northwest Bootblack 2018, a Pansexual, Poly, Penguin Princess and overall Pain in the ass. She loves hard and works harder. She’s been bootblacking since 2009 and has been honored to work the stands at Folsom Street Fair, Sin in the City, Northwest Leather Celebration and Battle Born Leather Clubs Gear Nights. Moxie is active in her community as the producer of the Nevada Bootblack Contest, marketing director for Revelry, and is a member of her local leather clubs. Mox is a knife enthusiast, needle bottom, and what she wouldn't do for a good stomping scene. With a personality bigger than her smile, Mox shares her love of all things boots with anyone who will listen. Her favorite pair is her Hello Kitty boots with the pink leather bows, but she’s a sucker for a cute person wearing Wescos.

Master Bernie began his journey into kink when he read a Drummer magazine in 1981. He liked what he saw and purchased a leather jacket and motorcycle boots the next day. His Leather journey began with that first step. He stepped into the old Sun Tavern and began convincing members of the Wasatch Leatherman’s Motorcycle Club to start on him as a bottom.

He has been a member of Utah Powerplay, Utah Power Exchange (UPEX), and The Path. He has taught classes to each of these organizations starting in 1996 and continues teaching to the current generation of kinksters.

He is a cadet from the first Journeyman III (Three) Academy in Salt Lake City, Utah. His journey carried him to Chicago, Illinois, where he became an associate member of the Chicago Hellfire Club, a gay male sex club. His kinky mission is to flog and single tail as many willing volunteers that will step up to the plate.

Bri Burning

Bri Burning is your Northwest Person of Leather 2019! She is femme, queer, leather, slave, and baby girl-identified person. She has been active in the San Francisco/Bay Area BDSM community since 2010, where her journey started at SF Citadel as a service submissive to the club. Her passion for her community grew with hosting events and bringing people together. In 2015, she started teaching on BDSM, relationships, and communication, discovering just how passionate she is about education. She has taught at NWLC, Sin in the City, Dark Odyssey Surrender, Revelry, IMsLBB, and many other conferences throughout the Northwest. She is the moderator of SF Submissive Safe Space and a leader of Submissive Girl's Night Out. Her passion in kink education continuously grows in topics such as self-care, power exchange, age play, and service—which she spreads like glitter! Crystal

Crystal has loved the feel and smell of leather all her life. It wasn't until she went through Journey and Leather Quest in 2013-2014, that she learned how to bootblack and take care of Leather. She has been doing it ever chance she can get and loves to teach others. She has taught at Path a 101 class and Journey a 201 class. She has a desire to learn more about how other people do stuff and what they use.

She has been the bootblack coordinator for Utah Leather Pride and Rocky Mountain Rebellion. She loves being the coordinator and it is hard to get her away from the stands for long.
